All Teams interested in playing in the 2010 NYC EMS SOFTBALL League need to bring at least half deposit (400 dollars on that day to the meeting or if you cannot attend the meeting,  you can mail in you 2010 NYC EMS League Registration Fee to;

Welcome to the NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE. www.emsleague.com , one of the biggest & premier softball leagues in New York City!  The League is now entering it's 23rd season and  we invite all teams to come and join us, in a very fun, fair, very competitive and well organized League.  The league was originally established in 1987, and the league was made up then, as a stress reliever to all NYC EMS workers (EMT’s & Paramedics), to come out and have some fun and morale with other co-workers.  The League then had an 8 game schedule and only 6 teams competing in the league.

    The League now has flourished into well over "150 teams," with a 30 game schedule on several different ball fields, with most of the top teams from the NYC tri-state area agencies competing in the league, but any team may join our league that will conduct themselves in a sportsmanship manner.  The League also is one of the most inexpensive Leagues in the city at only 800 dollars to join for the entire season, yet giving out trophies to all teams and a total of almost $20,000 in cash prizes.

     In the 2010 Season, the League will start the first week in April, and it will be a 30 Game regular season schedule, that runs until the middle of August, with the Playoffs starting in September.  Also there will be 2 umpires at every game at  40 dollars per game, but with over 150 teams throughout in 8 different Leagues

The Weekday Summer Modified League will have over 100 Teams, with a 30 game season,  playing Monday - Friday at 6:00pm or 8:15pm.  and which will also be a Modified Pitch League (10:00 arm swing, N0 Sidearm, NO SLINGSHOT, AND NO WINDMILL.  This year the Top 48 Teams will make the playoffs in a NCAA Playoff Bracket, vying for the 2010 NYC EMS SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.  We also will have the Commissioner Cup Series for Teams that do not make the money playoffs, similar to the N.I.T. 

     The Weekday Summer Coed League will be played weekdays, Mon -Fri at 8pm or 6pm  (30 Game Season) and which will be a Coed Slow Pitch Lob and will have have 2 Conferences, (20 Teams) & 2 different divisions,There must be at least 3 women on each Coed Team to join & play with brand new teams & their own separate playoffs & championship.

The Weekday Womens Fast Pitch League  a Brand new ALL Womens League) which will be a Womens Fast Pitch League and will be played Weekdays, (Mon -Fri at 6pm)  (20 Game Season) starting1^ST week of May) and will have have 2 Conferences, (10-16 Teams) , with  their own separate playoffs & championship.

      The Sunday Summer Modified League  We will have (30-40 Teams) for that separate all day Sunday League (30 Game Season) and which will also be a Modified Pitch League (10:00 arm swing, N0 Sidearm, NO SLINGSHOT, AND NO WINDMILL.  This year the Top 24 Sunday League Teams will make the playoffs in a NCAA Playoff Bracket, vying for the 2010 NYC EMS SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

       The Sunday Summer Coed League. We will have (16-20 Teams) for that separate all day Sunday League (30 Game Season) and which will be a Coed Slow Pitch Lob and will have have 2 Conferences, (20 Teams) & 2 different divisions,There must be at least 3 women on each Coed Team to join & play with brand new teams & their own separate playoffs & championship.

      The FALL Sunday  Modified League  will have (30-40 Teams) for that separate all day Sunday League (14-16 Game Season) where we go over the Rules & Regs, issue Softballs (Clinchers), for anyone interesting in acquiring them from the League, & the Initial Season Schedule. The League is very flexible on the times and all the games are played in Manhattan at 145th & Lenox Ave or at our Central Park (North Meadow) Ballfields.

       The FALL Sunday Coed League  will have (12-16 Teams) for that separate all day Sunday League (14-16 Game Season) where we go over the Rules & Regs, issue Softballs (Clinchers), for anyone interesting in acquiring them from the League, & the Initial Season Schedule. The Sunday Womens Fast PitchLeague ( a Brand new ALL Womens League) which will be played also only on Sundays, from 8:30am-12:30pm , (8-10 Teams) , with  their own separate playoffs & championship. (FASTPITCH, WINDMILL & SLINGSHOT PITCHING WILL BE ALLOWED ALONG WITH BUNTING & STELAING. )

          All the Leagues will be  registered under the (ASA) American Softball Association, The League also gets involved with other special events such as Exhibition games, All-Star games & Charity fundraisers,  The league also has a very strong family base, where people can bring their wives and their children to the park in safety and enjoyment.  There is something for everyone!  Once again please come out and see, or join one of the number one leagues in the city
